Responsibilities:

  • Design projects such as landfills, stormwater pollution prevention systems, channels, dams, low-volume roads, and geomembrane liners. Oversee assessment and construction of projects.

Senior Civil/Environmental Engineer- PE/Project Manager. 09-Eng-4
TerraGraphics is offering an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional located in our Helena, MT office, but also working with our well established offices in Boise, Kellogg, and Moscow, ID and Spokane, WA. We have been serving our clients for 25 years with a staff of experienced, dedicated engineers and scientists. We are interested in motivated, innovative project managers who thrive in an exciting, fast-paced team environment and can help guide the company’s future in the region. The successful candidate will be in a position to develop both their own career and the growth of the Helena office. TerraGraphics offers competitive salaries, a benefit package including a matching 401K plan and profit sharing, and flexible work schedules.
Work will focus on environmental/mine-site remediation and community redevelopment. Typical civil/environmental projects may include a mine-site remediation program, repositories, waste management planning, groundwater/surface water systems, and site clean-up within the context of CERCLA and RCRA guidelines. This position will also be responsible to manage four or more local engineering personnel. Field work may be necessary, and generally requires a valid driver license and clear driving record.
Required qualifications:

  • Specific experience should include engineering design and bid packages; regulatory compliance; report writing; construction oversight; and coordination with city, county, and state officials regarding project implementation.
  • The ideal candidate for this senior level position would have registration as a Professional Engineer in Montana or ability to obtain within six months.

TerraGraphics has established an open roster primarily for Environmental Science and Engineering Intern candidates. Applications received in the correct manner and meeting the minimum qualifications will be placed in a pool for future consideration as openings may become available in any of our offices. The roster is for all TerraGraphics offices - Moscow, Kellogg, or Boise, ID; Spokane, WA; Helena, MT; or Las Vegas, NV. TerraGraphics will also accept resumes for marketing Interns for our Boise or Moscow offices, and will consider those resumes if the need arises. We are interested in motivated college students who want to gain experience in environmental consulting. Engineer - Hydrologic, 10-Eng-1
TerraGraphics is seeking an Engineer for a position in our Natural Systems Engineering Group in our Moscow, ID office. We need a self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented candidate who can work well on a team and independently in a fast paced environment.

Duties:

  • Manage a small engineering group that designs and oversees construction of projects such as stream restoration, wetland mitigation, flood control, and stormwater management systems.
  • Develop hydrologic modeling inputs, perform hydrologic engineering analyses, evaluate respective data for environmental remediation systems, and prepare reports.
  • Responsible for high quality product and engineering excellence.
  • Interact with clients.
  • Interact with Agencies to acquire permits and approvals.
  • Responsible for schedule and budget management for assigned work activities.
  • Additional responsibilities will include surveying, drafting, estimating costs, and hydraulic modeling.
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with an emphasis in water resources or related engineering field. Masters degree is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of relevant hydrologic experience (hydrology, hydraulics, and flood control).
  • Must have project management experience.
  • EIT certification, PE preferred. Knowledge of common engineering concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Familiarity with wetland delineation, wetland mitigation planning, design, and implementation, stream restoration, and contaminated sites.

Human Resources / Front Office Admin Assistant. 10-Admin-2
Local environmental engineering firm has an opening in Moscow, ID office for an organized individual to assist with administrative and human resources (HR) tasks. Must be a self-starter, able to handle a fast-paced working environment, and exhibit strong people skills, reliability, discretion, and attention to detail. Anticipated ~40 hrs/week; 50% front office support, 50% HR support.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist HR department to complete a range of tasks including: all aspects of the hiring process such as preparing and distributing position announcements, tracking and processing applications, scheduling interviews, and sending responses; tracking training and other data and updating spreadsheets; processing and filing employee paperwork; assisting with research on legal requirements and government reporting regulations; drafting documents; and other tasks as assigned.
  2.
