Culture
Trust and flexibility
These overriding principles make TerraGraphics’ work culture what it
is. We believe in hiring the best people in their respective scientific and
engineering fields, putting together specialized teams based on project demands
and then trusting them to get the job done. People who thrive at TerraGraphics
are self-directed and appreciate the flexible working hours. Many of our employees
are from the Northwest and love the lifestyle of living in a small northern
Idaho community. As one of our newest employees in environmental science said,
“I’m sure that not all small firms are like TerraGraphics but I
am sure that all big firms aren’t.”
Our smaller size allows us to be efficient, responsive and to focus on quality.
While hard work and professionalism are expected, we also know how to have fun.
Friday evening wine tastings at our Moscow office are standard fare and a great
way to let off some steam, sample some of the best wines the Northwest has to
offer, and socialize with staff, clients, friends, and families. The dress code
is casual and so is the atmosphere. In addition, we welcome our employees’
four-legged furry friends to the office since we know that dogs are great stress
relievers.
Twenty years ago, TerraGraphics was built upon hard work and expertise in our
field of environmental engineering. Today, we have grown into one of the top
environmental consulting firms in the region. We strive to balance company growth
while maintaining the atmosphere and work ethics that make TerraGraphics a great
place to work.
