Civil/Environmental Engineer- PE/Project Manager (08-Eng-4)
TerraGraphics Environmental Engineering is offering an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional located in our Helena, MT office, but also working with our well established offices in Boise, Kellogg, and Moscow, ID and Spokane, WA. We have been serving our clients for more than 20 years with a staff of experienced, dedicated engineers and scientists. We are interested in motivated, innovative project managers who thrive in an exciting, fast-paced team environment and can help guide the company’s future in the region. The successful candidate will be in a position to develop both their own career and the growth of the Helena office. TerraGraphics offers competitive salaries, a benefit package including a matching 401K plan and profit sharing, and flexible work schedules.

Work will focus on environmental/mine-site remediation and community redevelopment. Typical civil/environmental projects may include a mine-site remediation program, repositories, waste management planning, groundwater/surface water systems, and site clean-up within the context of CERCLA and RCRA guidelines. Specific experience should include engineering design and bid packages; risk assessment, regulatory compliance; report writing; construction oversight; and coordination with city, county, and state officials regarding project implementation. Knowledge of AutoCAD, Access and SQL Server database programs a plus. This position will also be responsible for office management duties.

The ideal candidate for this mid- (5+ yrs) to senior- (10+ yrs) level position would have registration as a Professional Engineer in Montana or ability to obtain within six months, and 5+-10+ years related experience. Masters degree in engineering preferred. Field work may be necessary, and generally requires a valid driver license and clear driving record.

Engineer (EIT), 08-Eng-3
TerraGraphics is seeking an Engineer-in-Training for a position in our Moscow, Idaho office. Need self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented candidate who can work well on a team and independently in a fast paced environment.
Duties:
Designs and oversees construction of projects such as flood control, stream restoration, wetland mitigation, stormwater systems, and municipal sewers. Develops hydrologic modeling inputs, performs hydrologic engineering analyses, evaluates respective data for environmental remediation systems, and prepares reports. Interacts with Agencies to acquire permits and approvals. Responsible for schedule and budget management for assigned work activities. Additional responsibilities may include surveying, drafting, estimating costs, and hydraulic modeling. Performs job functions under immediate supervision of a Professional Engineer.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with an emphasis in water resources or related engineering field. Masters degree is preferred.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a civil or environmental engineering field.
- Working knowledge of MS Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD. Civil 3D experience a plus.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills; and demonstrated ability to prepare technical reports.
Other Desirable Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license, with clear record preferred.

TerraGraphics has established an open roster for Environmental Science and Engineering Intern candidates. TerraGraphics will also accept resumes for marketing Interns, particularly for our Boise office, and will consider those resumes if the need arises. The roster is for all four offices - Moscow, Kellogg, Boise, and Spokane. We are interested in motivated college students who want to gain experience in environmental consulting. Those applying for this roster will need to specify the office(s) for which they wish to be considered, as well as general availability during the semester and vacation periods (particularly the summer break).
